Creating fabric of such intricacy is an art. Unique fabrics made using the finest natural fibres – linen, wool and silk, that celebrate the dedication of master craftsman and abstruse weaving techniques passed down from generation to generation.
Bernie de Le Cuona invited Edward Watson, principal dancer at The Royal Ballet in London to express the beauty of the fabrics through dance, captured in a series of still and moving images, art directed by Damian Foxe. The fibres of the fabric and human body interlace. Imagination, presence and ability to translate textiles into movement makes this an ambitious piece of artistic expression. A first for an interior fabric house that pushes design boundaries.
