Armani Casa 2013

Nature is a never ending source of inspiration for textiles and the 2013 Armani / Casa Exclusive Textiles by Rubelli collection is inspired by flowers, by the surface of materials, ranging from water to earth, and by animalier patterns.

The flowers selected have an oriental approach that recalls the refined world of Giorgio Armani. Orchids and dahlias are presented in contemporary large scale compositions, which provide a modern look to the fabrics. Delicate orchids are woven with effects that seem painted on precious silk satin. The rounded dahlias glitter over the silk background due to the very shiny yarns that weave them.

Also the geometric designs of this collection have an oriental mood, and are inspired by structures and architectural elements, or by natural materials such as bamboo.

Two intriguing printed velvets, one a lizard skin pattern, the other a peculiar feather and fur design, together with two opulent jacquards, both inspired by feathers, build the animalier section of this collection.

Thanks to the resistant yarns used and to the tight constructions, the 2013 Armani/Casa fabric collection is particularly suitable for upholstery.

Three sheers, with subtle structures and look varying from natural to sheen, refine the assortment of Armani / Casa’s curtain fabrics. All sheers are introduced in double width for easy use.

The earthy colours of sepia and military green are enhanced by strong vivid colours of red gold and brick, which contrast with the shadow blue, the darkest shade of the palette. The classic tones of Armani /Casa are always available: ivory, ice, silver, pale gold, taupe, red and anthracite.
